AIDEC Digital joined the world’s largest technology and AI event, GITEX Global 2025, as part of Ghana’s official delegation, organized by the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA). The event, held from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour, brought together over 6,800 exhibitors, 1,200 investors, and tech innovators from more than 180 countries. Representing Ghana alongside leading technology firms such as Abelway Technologies, Zuzo Limited, and Talent Box Information & Security Systems, AIDEC Digital showcased its innovative digital solutions and commitment to driving Africa’s digital transformation agenda.

Ghana’s Strong Presence on the Global Tech Stage

The Ghana Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 reflected the country’s growing stature in the global technology ecosystem. Spearheaded by GEPA, the initiative aimed to provide Ghanaian technology companies with a platform to present their products and services to an international audience, attract investors, and explore cross-border collaborations.

Within this vibrant setting, AIDEC Digital stood out for its focus on digital transformation, software innovation, and data-driven solutions tailored to African markets. The company’s exhibition booth drew interest from investors, technology partners, and policymakers seeking to understand how African tech enterprises are shaping the continent’s digital future.

AIDEC Digital was represented by its Chairman, Sir Ambrose Yennah, and Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Deladem Richie Bonny, both of whom played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s vision of enabling digital growth across Africa through innovation, strategic partnerships, and knowledge exchange.

During the five-day exhibition, the AIDEC Digital team engaged with global technology leaders, startups, and potential collaborators to explore opportunities in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Their participation underscored the company’s dedication to positioning African digital enterprises within the global innovation ecosystem.

Building Strategic Partnerships and Future Collaborations

GITEX Global provided a fertile environment for networking and collaboration, and AIDEC Digital maximized the opportunity to engage with technology companies, investors, and research institutions from around the world.

The company’s leadership held a series of meetings to explore strategic partnerships in AI, and digital capacity development, as well as potential collaborations with Middle Eastern and Asian tech firms. These discussions focused on co-developing scalable solutions tailored to Africa’s market dynamics.

According to Mr. Deladem Richie Bonny, CTO of AIDEC Digital, “GITEX gave us a platform to connect with global innovators who share our passion for technology that makes an impact.” Such collaborations, he added, are vital in accelerating technology transfer, knowledge sharing, and investment flows that can help African businesses compete globally.

Africa’s Emerging Role in Global Innovation

AIDEC Digital’s participation at GITEX Global 2025 reflects a broader movement: the rise of Africa as a key contributor to global innovation. With a rapidly growing digital economy, youthful population, and increasing investment in infrastructure, the continent is fast becoming a hub for technology-driven growth. The participation also underscored the importance of platforms like GITEX Global in bridging regions. It connects African enterprises to international markets, helps them access cutting-edge technology, and opens doors for sustainable investment partnerships.

Strengthening Ghana’s Technology Export Potential

GITEX Global 2025 reinforced the vision of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority to promote technology exports as a new growth frontier for Ghana. By supporting companies like AIDEC Digital, GEPA is helping Ghana position itself as a reliable provider of digital services and innovation across the continent and beyond. Through this collaboration, Ghana’s technology ecosystem continues to gain global visibility, demonstrating that digital exports can become a key contributor to national development and diversification.
