Since 2020, AIDEC Digital has been a driving force in Ghana’s digital innovation landscape, delivering transformative IT training, education, and digital solutions. The company has now taken a major leap forward with the launch of its state-of-the-art Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Centre in Accra — a move that not only marks a new milestone for AIDEC but also signals Ghana’s growing position in the global digital outsourcing industry.
Held under the theme “Global Competitiveness and Strategic Partnerships: Positioning Ghana as a Top Digital Outsourcing Hub Through Strategic Collaborations and Job Creation,” the launch event brought together prominent voices from government, tech industries, and academia. The event spotlighted AIDEC’s full range of outsourcing solutions tailored for both local and international clients, while also emphasizing the company’s commitment to job creation in Ghana’s expanding digital economy.

Speaking at the launch, Sir Ambrose Yennah, Founder and Executive Chairman of the AIDEC Group, noted:
“This new BPO Centre is a testament to our continued efforts in driving Ghana’s digital transformation. We are committed to positioning Ghana as a strategic outsourcing destination by leveraging our digital infrastructure, skilled workforce, and advantageous location in West Africa.”
Tapping Into a Growing Global Market
The global BPO market is valued at over $321 billion, with projections showing growth to $525 billion by 2030. Africa currently holds just 2% of that share, led by countries like South Africa, Egypt, and Morocco. AIDEC Digital’s new investment aims to change that narrative for Ghana.
David Gowu, CEO of the Business Outsourcing Services Association of Ghana (BOSAG), emphasized Ghana’s potential:
“With a politically stable environment, a young, educated, English-speaking population, and strategic geographic positioning, Ghana is ready to emerge as a top-tier BPO destination. AIDEC’s investment reflects this confidence.”

What the New BPO Centre Offers
The new facility is fully equipped to provide a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the needs of diverse clients. These include handling both inbound and outbound call center operations, delivering professional customer service and technical support, managing data entry, processing, and analytics, and offering artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence solutions. In addition, the BPO centre supports digital marketing and content management strategies, offers e-learning and IT training programs, facilitates ISO certification processes, and provides IT and software development support to enhance business operations.
Empowering Youth Through Employment & Skills Development
AIDEC’s BPO Centre is not just a business venture—it is a strategic effort to address youth unemployment by offering meaningful employment and practical training. The facility will employ university graduates and IT professionals while running tailored training programs in digital customer service, IT support, and digital marketing to equip them with industry-relevant skills.
“Our vision aligns with BOSAG’s goal to create 1 million BPO-related jobs over the next five years. AIDEC is proud to lead the charge in making this a reality,” added Gowu.

Emmanuel Gbeve, AIDEC’s Chief Technology Officer, highlighted the center’s compliance with cybersecurity regulations and global data protection standards.
“We’ve obtained certification from the Cyber Security Authority and implemented rigorous protocols to ensure security and service quality that meet international benchmarks,” Gbeve stated.
A Legacy of Innovation and Partnerships
This launch is the latest in a series of landmark initiatives by AIDEC Digital. Since its inception, the company has hosted high-profile technology events such as the Africa Digital Forum and Tech Engineers Roundtable, sponsored innovation celebrations like the Technovate Awards and Fair, and launched impactful digital platforms including Africoursity (MOOC) and AIDECIA (ERP SaaS). It has also established a 30-seater Tech Lab for IT training, created Ghana’s first AI Center of Excellence for research and development, and most recently launched the AIDEC Academy and Tech News Global to further its mission in tech education and information dissemination.
With the formation of BOSAG in late 2024, Ghana’s BPO and tech industry is poised for a collaborative future. Stakeholders are optimistic about building a unified voice that advocates for local and international support. Kafui Amanfu, Executive Director of the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH), emphasized the importance of unity: “This is not about competing; it’s about collaborating. If we align as one voice, we can elevate the potential of Ghana’s BPO sector.”
Isaac Newton Acquah, National Project Coordinator for Ghana’s Tech Sector at the International Trade Centre, concluded: “The success of our BPO ecosystem will depend on centers of excellence, experience, and strong communities like BOSAG and IIPGH working hand in hand to advocate for Ghana both locally and globally.”
